The journey of Thomas
My name is Thomas de Bruin, I am 21 years old and currently a student in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Through AIESEC I did the Explore Rwanda project because it offered my a unique chance to know the beautiful country of Rwanda and its inhabitants. I choose Rwanda because I wanted to enhance my French and French is the third language of this country. Unfortunately I did not get too speak much French, because it is only the third language, but still had an amazing experience.
During my time in Rwanda I visited the three main cities. I started in the capital, Kigali, then continued to Musanze and Huye. |
Mwaniki NyagaCurrently living and studying in Nairobi, this here is a chronicle of life in its many flavours, in its sweet and sour tastes and with all the good and bad I lived through while touring Rwanda.

I am Soila, an AIESEC intern in Rwanda. Follow my journey...
Hi!
My name is Soila Kenya; and you guessed it, I'm from Kenya! I'm a 21 year old university student interested in adventure. And through AIESEC, I was able to do just that! I was there for 5 weeks and I had an amazing experience I would like to share with you. I was doing a project called Explore Rwanda which included traveling around the country and documenting the beauty of Rwanda through articles, videos and pictures. So because of that, the format of the posts will be more like a guide for people interested in traveling to the country who’d like to tour, while still giving my personal experiences. I try give prices and locations of the places I talk about in the hopes it will be beneficial to you all. During my stay, I visited 4 regions of the country. Please follow the links below to discover my adventures in each. You can click on the buttons below the pictures or scroll down for the full story. |
A hidden treasure in the heart of Africa
by Charlotte
Hello! I'm Charlotte from Belgium, 24 years old and I just finished studies!
Before I'm going to work officially I wanted to have an experience where I needed to get out of my comfort zone and add value for other people. So I packed my bags and travelled to Rwanda to participate on the Explore Rwanda Project. Why Rwanda? Because I love East Africa and the project is very interesting! It seemed to me the best choice! And lord it was … Let's explore Rwanda! |
